Job readiness skills are a set of skills and behaviors that are necessary for any job. Job readiness skills are sometimes called soft skills, employability skills, work readiness skills, or 21st century skills

-transition skills (skills for becoming more independent)
-job search skills (completing job application, resume, interview, follow up)
-interpersonal & communication skills
-locating information & how to use resources
-technical skills

At WYWLA the 21st century skills are infused within the curriculum and supported with career development events and activities starting in 6th grade.
